Lahai Health
At Lahai Health, we seek to join in the work of bringing Christ's love and justice through a ministry of healing. Lahai Health gets our name from the story of Hagar in the Bible, in which she experiences God as the God who sees her. We desire for all our patients to experience the God who sees them, loves them, and delights in them.

Lahai Health is the largest and only free comprehensive primary care clinic serving people who are uninsured and living on low incomes in the Puget Sound. Our volunteers donate their time and talents to care for our community and ensure that everyone has access to quality care. The Next Five Minutes

Sometimes following Jesus may feel too hard. Sometimes it seems like we must be serious, devout, and seek opportunities to share Jesus in big ways. What if we looked at our next 5 minutes as the most important as we respond to Jesus? Jesus was approachable, interruptible, and personal to everyone in front of Him. Together we will look at our own lives and Scripture to see how we can be more authentic as we respond to how God is calling us.

2Leona Starks

Tell Me About a Christian Women's Mentoring Program

Christian women of all ages can benefit from a mentoring program! As a mature believer, you have so much to offer a younger believer. Perhaps as a newer believer, you desire to be mentored. Our church has had a successful mentoring program, impacting many women by strengthening their relationship with Jesus and the Body of Christ. You will receive information and inspiration on how to start a mentoring program in your church, e.g. tips, lessons, learned, sample forms, and resources.

How Good of Soil Am I For God To Work With?

In this workshop you will learn that soil dictates a lot of what farmers do. The better the soil, the easier it is to work the fields and the less fertilizer they have to buy to produce a crop. Let's evaluate the condition of our own soil and see if it is rich enough for God to use.

Seeing the Way Jesus Sees

Have you ever wondered what Jesus sees? I want to see how Jesus sees! I bet you would too. Let's dive into His Word and see like Jesus!

Invitation Into Intimacy: Praying the Jesus Way

Prayer was the heartbeat of Jesus' intimacy with the Father, and when His disciples asked, "Lord, teach us to pray," He responded with what we now call the Lord's Prayer. Though He could have spoken volumes, He condensed His words into just five verses - simple, yet profound. Beginning with Our Father and concluding with Amen, this prayer reveals the heart of Jesus and invites us into deeper intimacy with the Father. Together, we will explore this prayer and the richness it holds for our own walk with God.

6Kimberly Tevis

It's a Choice (Daily)

Living the Jesus Way is a choice that we get to choose each day. We'll explore the continuation of the story God started last year and what choosing Jesus every day looks like practically.

7Ann McMurray

Finding Your Way in the Jesus Way

God has designed us with a personality and purpose. The Jesus Way involves weaving together such individual energy, talent, and actions into the greater whole known as "the church" of the Way. The challenge? Most of us have read, studied, and learned the Bible over the years, so our issue isn't knowledge of Jesus but understanding ourselves. Come do a deep dive into discovering who God meant you to be, unlocking the purpose and passion you were created for!

8Karla McElroy

Peter Following the Jesus Way

We'll focus on Peter as he found and followed the Jesus Way path in a way that gives us hope. Peter denied Jesus three times but Jesus engaged him in a conversation that helped Peter refocus on his purpose and call to walk "the Jesus Way."

9Laura Inglis

Does Following Jesus Mean I Won't Experience the Darkness of Depression?

Does experiencing depression mean I'm not walking with Jesus? If I'm in a dark place, does that mean I'm not walking with Jesus good enough? Am I depressed because I don't have Jesus' light? Do true Christians suffer depression? Do I need to follow Jesus better so I don't have to struggle so much?

10Debbie Rothrock

White Flag: I Surrender All!

Walking the Jesus Way is a surrendered life to Christ. What does this mean to walk fully surrendered to Jesus? As we surrender to Jesus, His Way, we will learn that His plan is always in our best interest!

11Barbara Blakey

Marriage: Hard-Fought? Heartfelt? Been Through Hell?

What does marriage the "Jesus Way" involve? What if my "I Do" has become "I can't anymore"? This workshop is designed for both those with strong relationships and those struggling.
