And I am sure of this, that He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6 ESV

April 25-27, 2025

The Northwest Christian Women's Conference (NWCWC) provides spaces of learning, restoration, renewal and play for women to cultivate a deepening relationship with Christ.

We're so excited for you to join us on this special weekend!

Featured Speaker

Karla McElroy
Like most women, Karla has worn several "hats," and she’s found rich fulfillment in each one: pastor’s wife to husband Jim for 51+ years, proud mom to “kids” Charise and Jared, missionary in the Philippines, speaker, vocalist, board member with the NWCWC and former board member of the domestic violence agency NW Family Life, administrative specialist with the University of Washington Medical Center, and the one that’s currently the most entertaining Mimi to grands Jack and Cadence. Since retiring from the UW Med Center, Karla loves having more time with family and traveling. She has chosen JOY as her life word and her personal statement of faith as she lives to honor the call for Christ to increase as she decreases, to know Christ and the power of His resurrection, and to serve with endurance with her eye focused on the joy set before us.

Northwest Family Life Service Project
Northwest Family Life provides hope and healing to survivors by breaking the cycles of abuse, exploitation, and relational trauma. They provide services such as safe shelter, counseling, domestic violence intervention treatment, soulcare, and advocacy.

The organization includes a network of 40+ faith-based therapists that are dedicated to a unique 3-pronged approach to services: 1) Providing victim services (including the youth who are impacted), 2) Providing rehabilitative treatment to perpetrators, and 3) Providing training for faith communities.

Through this work, NWFL hopes to create generational change. The NWFL team writes, "We are so excited to partner with you all. We all need to work together to create healing in our communities. Thank you for being ambassadors of hope and 'shade in the daytime from the heat, a place of refuge, and a shelter from the storm and rain.' (Isaiah 4:6)".

We will be supporting NWFL by collecting donations and gathering supplies for the NWFL Penny's Place shelter. You can learn more by visiting www.nwfl.org.

Journaling the Psalms to Deal with Difficult Emotions

God created emotions to communicate what is important to us. The writers  of the Psalms authentically expressed a wide range of emotions in their relationship with God. By reading, journaling, and praying through the Psalms, we can bring our own emotions no matter how challenging before God, using them as an expression of our faith.

We Are Good Enough

Healing from a narcissistic mother (parent) can be challenging. I hope to help those who grew up in a difficult childhood, through the hope of Jesus Christ. He is Faithful, even when those we trust let us down.

Hospitality - What’s Faith Got To Do With It?

We all love receiving an invitation to someone’s home for a meal or anything. But do you get “stressed out” over the thought of inviting someone over? This is really common and prevents so many of us from experiencing mutual blessings. Let’s explore together how to experience the joy of hospitality through faith and trust in the Lord. Plus some practical ideas and inspiration! This workshop will include interactive small group discussion.

Donna Oiland

Without the “Test”, All You Are is a “Mony”

God doesn’t waste anything. He faithfully uses our trials to get us prepared for where He is taking us.

Donna is an amazing storyteller and will be sharing  her testimony, and encouraging us with humor and love.

Words of Worth

Discover how a word for the year aligned with the Living Word brings about joy and strengthens your faith. We will uncover the many facets of a personal word entrusted to the Lord for revelation of his character and refinement into  His image bearers. There will be opportunity for show‘n tell for those who have engaged in this practice since personal stories and application of God’s truths are invaluable.

6Jessie Heninger

Creative God, Creative You

God created the entire universe and He created us in His image. As His image bearers, our imagination and creative spirit are some of our most sacred gifts. Join me as we dive into scripture and this wild beautiful world to find peace and healing through our creative minds.

Revelation 21:5 “I Am Making Everything New!” -Jesus

We were created to be like Jesus, and God will see us through to perfect us in every way. He is faithful to the very end! But what is our part in all of this? What are we to do? How can we know that we are being made into the image of Christ? God is faithful but we too are called to be faithful; but how, what does God really want from us? I’d like to help you discover what you can do to be faithful: as I share some testimonies from my mission fields of lives that have been completely transformed into the image of Christ.

Put on the Shield of Faith

Paul rejoiced that the Christians in Thessalonica were growing in faith;  “We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brother (and sisters), as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.” 2 Thess.1:3 What does it mean to grow in faith? Simply put, to grow in faith means to grow spiritually. Do you feel at times that your faith is weak? Do you see other people and wish your faith was as strong as theirs? Come learn how to grow in faith and to become a pillar of faith to those around you.

Faithfulness Is a Journey, Not a Destination

So much of life is getting from point A to point B as fast as possible. That is not how we were designed. We were designed for relationships, the process, the journey. Faithfulness is not a destination, it is a part of the journey.

10Barbara Blakey

Beautiful "Oops"

As the title of a popular children’s book implies, mistakes don’t have to be disastrous. God is faithful to take our “oops” and transform them into something beautiful. In this workshop we’ll take a look at how God worked in the lives of biblical characters and recognize His working in our own lives.

11Char Monahan

“Old Faithful “Art Class  - $5 (pay for class at camp)

Isaiah 54:10—”Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.

This is a workshop where you can be creative and hand paint on a wooden mountain cut out, choosing your own colors of acrylic paint. Char will also be sharing how she has experienced God’s faithfulness in her own life.
