The NWCWC provides spaces of learning, restoration, renewal and play for women to cultivate a deepening relationship with Christ.

We're so excited for you to join us on this special weekend!

Featured Speaker

LaCinda Halls

With a lifetime of sitting in church, LaCinda thought she had this whole Jesus thing figured out. But then came the words that blew apart her carefully-controlled and crafted facade of achievement-oriented Christian perfection, “Your son has autism.” Nothing would ever be the same.

And that turned out to be exactly where LaCinda needed to be.

She shook out who she THOUGHT God was and discovered He was so much more.

With 25 years of teaching experience, LaCinda offers hope, humor, and Jesus to women who need assurance that our stories have a purpose in His plan and that nothing can separate us from the love of God.

 Journal Away

Trusting God is such a privilege as a follower of Christ, knowing He is always there for you no matter what. Have you ever expressed your love and gratitude to Jesus, as well as your thoughts and prayers by journaling? This year we are asking that you bring a new or unused journal to share. You will then receive a special journal to keep, brought by one of your sisters in Christ. Please bring your journal to the registration area to drop off upon check-in. Thank you!

Miracles and Memories Academy

Miracles and Memories Academy in Monroe, WA, is designed to support families of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide community-based respite care. Our services are intended to support families to continue with life, work, shopping or to just get a break from caring for their family member. During summer, we also provide summer camps for children who attend school K - 12.

The Owner/Provider states, “I started the Academy as my ministry. One of the needs that I saw in our community was the lack of faith-based services for individuals with disabilities. Many families in that situation turn from God because they’re angry that their children have these issues. All of my staff are followers of Jesus and we weave in hope and joy and God’s love everyday. We pray for our clients and we pray for our staff. We work really hard to show the love of Jesus to the families in everything that we do.”

We will be collecting funds to help support this ministry by purchasing field trip tickets for various outings for the clients and staff.

Finding the Truth in Our Testimonies

Testimonies are great examples to others of what God can do when we trust in Him for everything. We can share how God has worked in our lives even when the outcome was not what we had in mind. Our life events can serve to give hope to others who may be going through a similar situation. Writing down our testimonies serves as a reminder to ourselves of the peace God has given  and will give in the future.

Help! I’ve Fallen and Don’t Want to Get Up!

Have you or someone you know reached a point of exhaustion? Would you like to know how to avoid burnout?  Do you want to regain the spark?  This seminar is not a glib pep talk; it deals with the reality of burnout, and gives specific information on how to recognize burnout danger signals, how to avoid it, and how to recover.

Trusting Our Differences: If Men Are From Mars and Women Are From Venus, Aren’t We Both Aliens?

You’d think, since men and women have lived together since the Garden, we’d be better at it. Yet, we seem to concentrate on our differences and spend our lives in compare-and-contrast mode. There’s got to be a better way -and there is! Come, rejoice in our divinely inspired differences, while appreciating the heavenly and here-and-now lessons from God’s design.

Seeking God First Requires Trust

Matthew 6:33 asks us to seek God’s will and God’s Kingdom “FIRST”. Is your first response often, “But Lord, that is so hard!” Join me. Let’s talk about why that is so very difficult and how we can lay down our questions and doubts, and find peace as we pick up trust.
5Karla McElroy

Just Say “Yes”

Through the years, I’ve followed the advice of an elder in our first ministry: to discover your gifts when asked to do something at church, “Just say yes!”, or echoing Ephesians 2:10, as we follow the Lord’s leading for service, we discover our gifts. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 ESV

Free Falling

Is fear gripping you?  Do you feel completely lost and stuck in your circumstances?  What if I told you there is a way to make it through this seemingly impossible season with a hope filled heart? That I myself am in the midst of excruciating grief for my only son right now, and yet I am singing sweet praises of His Mighty Name? Over the ledge trust means trusting the Father with His Will and our well being. When we free fall into His loving, more than capable hands, His promises come true in us.

7Angie Dazell

Examine Your Heart

“But you promised!” How many times have we said those words? People may not always keep their promises, but you can trust God never forgets His promises. Join me as we first explore seeking His faithfulness to get us through our hard seasons. Then, I will invite you to “Examine Your Heart”. This art project will be a reminder of God’s promise to heal your heartbreaks, bind up your wounds, and save the crushed in spirit.

Trusting God as ‘Grand’ Influencers

The culture war is real! As  grandparents we can either choose to worry and fret about the world our grandchildren are growing up in OR we can TRUST God and go to war on their behalf. In this workshop we will discuss and collaborate on how to intentionally influence our grandchildren for Kingdom living. We will spur one another on to leave legacies that will make an impact for eternity.

9Marita Lawrence

God is Near: Parenting Children With Anxiety

Currently, Childhood Anxiety affects nearly 20% of kids ages 5 to 17, most go undiagnosed or left untreated. In this workshop we will discuss how to support a child with anxiety, look at some hard anxiety facts, lean into what God says about worry and anxiety, and hear a personal account from a parent in the process of supporting her own child with anxiety.

Cultivate the Discipline of Astonishment

Pay Attention! Live Astonished! Tell About It! Together we will discuss spiritual growth, not as a procedure, but as a wild search for trusting God in the tangled jungle of our lives.

Where’s Easy Street? Trusting God Amidst Darkness

Christianity has never been about an easy life. There are as many  scriptures that speak about blessings, health, and prosperity as there are trials and tribulations. Most of our biblical heroes overcame substantial, often seemingly impossible obstacles. Therefore, having taxing situations or struggles in life is not a sign that you have done something wrong; it is just a sign that you are alive. In this workshop, not only will you come away with five simple ways to strengthen your trust in God amidst dark times, but also you will be encouraged and built up to stay strong in the battle.

God-fidence: A Confidence In God, A Peaceful Trust

Isaiah 26:3-4 says, “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD Himself is the Rock eternal.” What is this confidence in God? What is this perfect peace?  We will take a look into God’s Word and find plentiful examples and tools for us to live a life of   “God-fidence”. Hiding God’s Word in our heart is just one of these tools. Be ready to work on a project that you can take with you.
